Outdoor activities

After registration, the meeting point is at Baerenplatz (Bear Plaza) next to the Kaefigturm (Prison Tower) and the final stop is at the Baerenpark (Bear Park) or in the legendary Matte district. Hot drinks in winter or an ice cream in summer are also served with the chocolates.

Following in the footsteps of the Bernese bear, you will be introduced to the local craft of the mysterious chocolate makers who melted cocoa for the first time. As a result, you will get to know the true and exciting story of Rodolphe Lindt.

At the end, however, everyone should decide for himself whether Bern was a chocolate capital or whether this statement is pure marketing.
