After hearing the melt-in-the-mouth story of Rodolphe Lindt, a three-course meal is served in the Fischerstuebli restaurant. This dinner will be the perfect way to round off your journey through the history of Bernese chocolate.
The menu is prepared in line with the Bernese chocolate tradition. It consists of an appetizer (salad or soup), a main course (beef tartare or a vegetarian option), and a dessert. Drinks are not included in the price and will be billed by the Fischerstuebli team at the end of the meal. After dinner, you could take Bus Line 30 from the Muehleplatz stop to the train station. Individual requests can also be accommodated for groups.

The hosts launched their venture shortly before the first lockdown in 2020 and subsequently launched a crowdfunding campaign.. campaign. This initiative led to the creation of the Salt-N-Chocolate-Tour in December of that same year.

  • This offer is intended for people ages 12 and older.
    CHF 98.- per person
    This includes a 3-course meal consisting of an appetizer, main course, and dessert (drinks at the restaurant are not included).
  • The event is limited to 30 people.
    English, German, and/or French
    1 to a maximum of 30 guests;
    31 or more guests upon request.
  • This sweet and salty activity lasts 4.5 hours.
    Duration
    Approximately 4.5 hours (2 hours for the tour, plus time in the restaurant).
  • Chocolate with Saltz takes place every Tuesday and Thursday.

    The event takes place on an irregular basis on certain Tuesdays or Thursdays at 5 p.m. Please check the calendar (additional dates are available for groups upon request).

    Thanks to the protective arcades in Bern’s Old Town, the tour can be taken regardless of the weather. However, outdoor clothing and comfortable shoes are still highly recommended.

Group Request

Private tours are available from Tuesday through Saturday (the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays). The tour can also be arranged as a morning tour followed by lunch. In addition, it is possible to have your meal at the restaurant first. In that case, the tour would be after the meal and start in the Fischerstuebli.
